Burbank School District - Mascot Emblems

Burbank School District 111 is a school district in Illinois, comprised of an Early Learning Center, 6 Elementary Schools, and 1 Junior High School. Designing the new Burbank School District Mascots was a fun, Freelance job I worked on. Burbank was looking to revamp their mascots, creating kid-friendly characters (smiling faces!) and making them cohesive throughout.

The first step was providing options - super “cartoonish”, more traditional, and then right in the middle. With multiple presentations of ideas, feedback from the schools, and various tweaks to the designs, the final mascots were chosen and are now proudly displayed in the school. The new mascots will be rolled out in the next school-year, and start appearing on merch, marketing, and other collateral.
